When you create an account, we collect:

Display name (from Google OAuth or provided at signup)
Preferences (preferred sportsbooks, markets, timezone, odds format)
Bet tracking data you voluntarily enter

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Authenticate your account and maintain your session
Personalize your dashboard (filter by your books, highlight your markets)
Grade your tracked bets automatically
Send transactional emails (password resets, confirmations)
Send optional alert notifications if you opt in

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect payment information (no billing yet)
We do not track your actual sportsbook accounts or balances
We do not sell or share your data with third parties
We do not use your data for advertising

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security enabled. Each user can only access their own data. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase - Authentication and database
Google OAuth - Social login (governed by Google's privacy policy)
Cloudflare - CDN and DDoS protection
Resend - Transactional email delivery

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser cookies for authentication tokens and localStorage for UI preferences (theme, last viewed tab, onboarding status). We do not use tracking cookies or analytics pixels.

7. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data (available in Settings)
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your account and data
Export your bet tracking history

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data, including row-level security policies, JWT authentication, and encrypted connections. However, no system is 100% secure.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
